Pet Friend replacement pet fountain filter cartridges are made from high quality coconut charcoal sandwiched between two layers of high-density filter cotton. The filter cotton traps hair and other debris whilst the coconut carbon absorbs organic and chemical impurities. Please note you should change the cartridges once every two to four weeks.
