Aqua Nova Sponge Filter
The AQUA NOVA air operated internal aquarium fish tank sponge filters are designed to provide biochemical filtration in aquarium.Excellent effect on dissolving oxygen in water and works very silently.
How they Work:
Simply attach airline and an air pump or powerhead (not included) to the nozzle on the sponge filter. As the pump pushes air into the filter, the air will escape up through the filter tube pulling water with it through the sponges thus filtering the water. Simple but effective! The filtered water comes out the directional outlet at the top of the uplift tube which can be swivelled to face any direction.
Comes with suckers for anchoring to the tank, and easy to remove sponges which simply slide off, and should be replaced when they no longer bounce back into shape when cleaned.

Top Tip: When replacing sponge on the dual sponge filter, only replace one at a time that way you retain the benefical bacteria that live on the sponge.
