The Tortoise bedding is a naturally soft substrate ideal for arid habitats, suitable for reptiles like snakes, bearded dragons, lizards and tortoises.
The quick absorbency of the pellets helps to reduce odours by reducing the release of ammonia, soiled pellets are easily isolated and can be removed helping to keep the habitat clean.
Tortoise straw bedding pellets will break down to fine particles if they become wet and so will also reduce impaction if accidentally digested.
