Pet Friend replacement pet fountain filter cartridges are made from high quality coconut charcoal sandwiched between two layers of high-density filter cotton. The filter cotton traps hair and other debris whilst the coconut carbon absorbs organic and chemical impurities.
Please note if you have one animal you. should change the cartridges once every three to four weeks. If there are more pets using the fountain then more frequent filter changes will be required.
