The Jebao RW Wave Makers are variable speed externally controlled wave makers that pump between 500 and 13000 litres per hour depending on the model. They have a 360 degree rotation allowing you to adjust the direction of the water current, simulating the conditions of the ocean.
Wave makers help eliminate "dead spots" in your aquarium. This is very important to corals, as the waste that they produce during respiration needs to be carried away from the tissue and to your filtration system. Lack of water circulation can cause the coral to suffocate, while uni-directional current can cause the coral to become irritated and, thus to close up. Wave makers help to eliminate these problems and enhance the health and growth of your tank inhabitants.
