The Hidom HD air pump 8 series are a superior range of aquarium air pumps designed to oxygenate your aquarium efficiently with its low power consumption, advanced air compressing system and a patented built in non-return valve system. The HD 8 series also comes with a built in carbon air filter removing toxic particles before the air is pumped to your tank. The ABS shell and unique pronged rubber feet helps to reduce noise, although please note that due to the way an air pump operates, there will always be some level of noise when in operation.
The built in Non-Return valve prevents water back syphoning into the pump in the event of a power cut or when turning the pump off. This is the only pump range on the market with this sensible safety feature.
