The Bermuda 30000 Wi-Fi Pressure Filters offer a compact but highly efficient pressurised filter, which have a easy to use self cleaning system. These filters contain multiple grades of filter foam sponges for mechanical filtration and plastic biomedia for biological filtration, plus an 55w stainless steel Ultra Violet light. The water firstly passes over the bulb where the green water algae is flocculated (clumped together), then flows to the base of the filter to the biomedia, then up and through the filter sponges which catch the particles in the water. The UV lamp indicator on the top of the unit allows at a glance view of whether the bulb is working or not. The lid is secured by a single clamp ring allowing easy access for filter maintenance. Inlet and outlet hosetails take 40 and 50mm hose (although we always recommend the biggest size is used).
The Bermuda 30000 Wi-Fi Pressure Filters have a simple to use self cleaning system which can se activated using the built in control panel. When activated the filter redirects the flowing water to the waste pipe connection and rotates the foams inside so that the internal cleaning bar squeezes the waste out of the foam, whilst the water flowing through the filter takes the debris to waste. For this option to be effective it must be done regularly, if the filter is left too long the waste fully block the foam and will not by the cleaning process.
The Bermuda 30000 Wi-Fi Pressure Filters use the Pond link system which connects with your broadband via Wi-Fi (you can download the app for iPhone or Android). Once installed you can easily monitor and automate the following:
1. Set to Automatic backwash. The pressure filter will run the cleaning cycle at pre-determined timer intervals or you can start a cleaning cycle when you want to, directly from the app.
2. Monitor that the UV-C lamp is working, how long it has been in use and also set it to operate by a timer.
3. There are two power contacts with a timer function on the filter. Your main filter pump must be connected to Contact A so the pump can be monitored and a automatic water saving program can be used during the cleaning cycle
4. You can receive an alert by email if an error occurs , or confirmation when the filter has finished a cleaning cycle
